Women’s Basketball Unveils Nonconference Schedule

WASHINGTON – Caroline McCombs and the George Washington women's basketball program have unveiled the team's non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Revolutionaries open the upcoming campaign on Monday, November 4 at home against Delaware.
Included in GW's non-conference slate are six games inside the Charles E. Smith Center, three on the road and two played at a neutral site as part of the MTE Christmas Classic hosted by Florida International.
Following the team's season-opener against Delaware, GW travels across The District to face Howard on Friday, Nov. 8. The Revolutionaries then come back home for a game against the University of Virginia at Lynchburg on Monday, Nov. 11.
GW's only true road game outside of the DMV comes on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Ohio. The Revolutionaries face the Bobcats for the first time since the 2022-23 season and the second time overall in the McCombs era.
After battling Ohio, GW returns home for four straight home games which include Towson (Nov. 20), Georgia Southern (Nov. 23), Morgan State (Nov. 27) and Coppin State (Dec. 10). On Saturday, Dec. 16, the Revolutionaries travel across the DMV once more for a road contest at American.
Just before Christmas, the GW Revs travel south to Miami to compete in the MTE Christmas Classic. On Wednesday, Dec. 20, the Revolutionaries face Miami (OH), then take on Hampton one day later on the 21st. The two contests in the Sunshine State conclude GW's non-conference slate and will give way to A-10 action.
