Lacrosse Earns 2023 IWLCA Academic Recognition

GW lacrosse has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Academic Honor Squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The team earned a 3.35 combined GPA for the 2022-23 academic year. To be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must maintain a 3.20 or higher team GPA.Â
In addition to the team recognition, Alex Aufiero (3.69), Whitney Moran (3.60), Brianna Vaughan (3.73) and Kianah Watson (3.68) earned spots on the IWLCA Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and possess a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
