Buff & Blue take on 2015 US Open course Chambers Bay
WASHINGTON -Â GW golf will look to keep its strong spring season going on the West Coast as it heads to the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, hosted at Chambers Bay Golf Course.Â
GW competed in the event at the 2015 U.S. Open host course last year, but only completed one round due to adverse weather conditions.

GW will go up against a nationwide field that includes three top-100 teams in the current Golf Stat rankings - Michigan State (#53), Oregon State (#73) and North Dakota State (#98). Fellow A-10 foe George Mason is also in the field along with Army, Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Gonzaga, Idaho, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Oregon State, Sacramento State, SeattleU, SIU Edwardsville, UC Irvine and UC San Diego.

GW has finished in the top-three at all three spring events this season, all with scores of 870 or better. Including the fall, GW has posted six of the top 17 54-hole team scores in program history this year in its eight events. Individually, GW has the top four 54-hole scores in program history, three of which have come from Jakub Hrinda.
