Gymnastics Registers 195.375 at New Hampshire

Chambliss earns fourth-straight vault title
DURHAM, N.H. – GW gymnastics recorded a 195.375 at New Hampshire on Sunday with a 49.200 on vault, a 48.350 on bars, a 48.650 on beam and a 49.175 on floor. North Carolina finished first overall with a 196.275, the host Wildcats finished second with a 195.900 and LIU rounded out the four-team field with a 195.100.
Deja Chambliss tied for first in the all-around with a season-high 39.425. Chambliss also earned her fourth-straight vault title, posting a season-high 9.925 on the event. Chambliss placed third overall on floor with a 9.875.
Kendall Whitman paced the GW season-best floor rotation with a 9.900 to finish second overall. Whitman also scored a season-high 9.850 on beam.
Four of GW's vault scores either tied a career-high or were season-highs, with Chambliss' season-high, Whitman posting a season-high 9.850, Hannah Munnelly matching her career-high and Sarah Zois hitting her season-high with a 9.800.
ROTATION ONE – BARS (48.350)
GW's afternoon began on bars, with Chambliss leading the rotation with a 9.800. Libby Garfoot, Rachel Katz and Anneliese Silverman each posted 9.675s and Munnelly added a 9.525. Madi McMullen registered a 9.350.
ROTATION TWO – BEAM (48.650)
The Buff & Blue moved to beam for their second rotation, led by Whitman and Zois' matching 9.850s. Chambliss added a 9.825, Silverman posted a 9.650, Deana Sheremeta added a 9.475 and Rachel Katz finished the beam lineup with an 8.550.
ROTATION THREE – FLOOR (49.175)
GW moved to floor for rotation three, led by Whitman's 9.900. Chambliss added a 9.875 and Payton Lynch and Sheremeta added a pair of 9.825s, a season-high for Lynch. Marlee York posted a 9.750 and Silverman added a 9.575.
ROTATION FOUR – VAULT (49.200)
GW finished the day on vault with the four leading scores and a 9.725 from York. Katz rounded out the vault lineup with a 9.800.

GW returns to the Smith Center on Friday at 7 p.m. for its annual Pink Meet with North Carolina, Temple and Yale.
