PRINCETON, N.J. -Â GW women's rowing wrapped up its fall campaign with the challenging Princeton Chase on Sunday, facing some of the best competition on the East Coast and from around the country.
The Buff & Blue rowed four boats in the Women's 8+ competition, sharing the water with national qualifiers such as Princeton, Penn, Indiana and Rutgers, among others. GW's V8 crossed the line 18th in a time of 15:20.374, besting A-10 rivals Rhode Island and UMass in the process. All four boats improved their times and placements from the previous year.
GW will return to action in the spring as it looks to defend its first-ever A-10 Championship earned this past spring.
