GW is averaging 92.0 ppg, which ranks 16th in the nation entering the week among teams who have played multiple D-I opponents.The Revolutionaries currently lead the nation in KenPom adjusted tempo at 76.8 possessions per game, and are ninth in average offensive possession length at 13.9 seconds.

Last season, GW posted an adjusted tempo of 68.9 possessions per game, its highest since the 2005-06 team (71.2 poss. per game).

OL' RELIABLE
After registering GW career-lows in points (5) and field goal attempts (6) in the season opener, James Bishop IV returned to his A-10 Player of the Year-caliber ways on Saturday with 32 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The 30-5-5 game is the fourth of its kind in the NCAA this season, and the first for a GW player since at least 2010. His 32 points on Saturday moved him past Patricio Garino for 11th all-time on the GW scoring list with 1,555 points.

THANKS FOR THE CHARITY
GW paraded to the free-throw line with regularity in Saturday's win, making 33-of-38 free throw attempts. It marked the first time since Jan. 31, 2016 that GW had made at least 30 free throws in a game and the first time the Buff & Blue had attempted at least 38 free throws since a four-overtime win over Davidson on Jan. 29, 2020.

GW is second in the A-10 in free throw makes per game (20.5), attempts per game (26.0) and percentage (78.8), ranking 28th, 61st and 40th nationally, respectively, in the categories.

A LOOK AT THE PRIDE
One of the most consistent mid-majors in recent years, the Pride enter year three under head coach Speedy Claxton coming off a 25-win campaign, a CAA regular season championship and a trip to the second round of the NIT. Hofstra has won at least 21 games in each of the last four non-COVID shortened seasons and are picked fourth in this year's CAA preseason poll.

The Pride opened up the year with a non-DI victory before falling at home to Princeton, 74-67, on Friday night. Tyler Thomas has paced Hofstra with 19.5 ppg through the first two contests, firing at a 47.6% (10-21) clip beyond the arc. Darlinstone Dubar (17.5 ppg) and Jaquan Carlos (10.5) also average double digits for Hofstra with Carlos dishing out 8.5 assists per game.
