Golf Signs Adam Bencik to NLI

WASHINGTON -Â GW golf head coach Chuck Scheinost announced the signing of Adam Bencik to a National Letter of Intent to join the program beginning in the 2024-25 season.
"We are extremely excited to have Adam join the program," Scheinost said. "He has flourished over the past year as one of the best players in Europe and will be a great addition to the core group of players we have returning."
A native of Bratislava, Slovakia, Bencik has enjoyed a decorated career. He was named the Slovak U14 Golfer of the Year in 2020 and the Slovak U16 Golfer of the Year in 2021. He has represented Slovakia in the European Boys Team Championships and European Young Masters each of the last three years. This past year, he won his first WAGR ranked tournament and was the individual and team champion in Slovak Clubs Championship.Â
