Gymnastics Heads to Towson for Midweek Dual Meet

WASHINGTON – GW gymnastics will visit Towson for its first of two meets this week. The head-to-head matchup with the Tigers is scheduled for 6 p.m. from SECU Arena and will be available on the Towson Sports Network.
LAST TIME OUTÂ
The Buff & Blue posted a season-high 195.350 at North Carolina on Saturday, highlighted by a season-best 48.900 on beam. Deja Chambliss was named the vault champion for the second time this season with a 9.875. Anneliese Silverman tied for second overall on beam with a season-high 9.825 and earned a career-high on floor with a 9.775.
A LOOK AT TOWSON
The Tigers finished second in a quad meet at West Virginia last weekend, posting their highest score of the season with a 196.025. Towson posted its second-highest score in program history, scoring a 49.350 on bars, and earned seven top-five finishes overall. The Tigers sit atop the EAGL rankings on bars with a 49.208 average and own a pair of top-five individual scores, with Isabella Minervini and Grace Vallancourt checking in at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.Â
