The Buff & Blue record 16 personal best times on Friday

Bethlehem, Pa. – Facing stiff competition on Friday, GW cross country put an impressive performance on display at the 48th annual Paul Short Run, highlighted by a top-two team finish for the women in the B Flight and a bevy of personal best times on the men's side.

NOTES:
• The GW women tied the program's best finish at the Paul Short Run, placing second in the B Flight.
• Olivia Syftestad was the first to cross the finish line for GW, coming across in a personal best time of 21:19.4.
• Nine out of 10 members of the GW women's team recorded a new personal best time during Friday's race.
• In total, the Buff & Blue set 16 personal record times at the Paul Short Run.
• Ryan Fowkes led the way for the men's team, finishing in a personal record time of 24:29.3. Fowkes' time is the second fastest 8K time in GW history. He finished just three seconds behind the top mark of 24:26.0, set by Ryan Tucker in 2015.
• Both Kevin Conlon and Lucas Brown recorded finishing times in the 8K that placed them in the top five all-time in program history.
