Riboud ties for 10th overall to lead GW

ORLANDO – GW golf concluded its spring season with a fourth-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship at the Watson Course in Orlando, Fla.

After opening play on Friday with a five-over-par 293, GW turned in its best collective round on Saturday with a six-under-par 282 to propel the squad from seventh to tied for third heading into Sunday's final round. The Buff & Blue put together a strong third round with a two-over-par 290 to earn its final fourth-place ranking.

Hugo Riboud led all GW golfers with a one-under-par 215 to tie for 10th overall. First-year Arav Patel tied for 17th with a one-over-par 217. Patel scored a team-low four-under-par 68 in Saturday's second round, helping GW to its lowest score of the Championship.
