Pateros Named to MAWPC Championship First Team

Graduate transfer honored following MAWPC Championship

Center Theodoros Pateros has been named to the 2022 MAWPC Championship First Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Pateros, a graduate transfer from Long Beach State, led the Colonials in scoring with 14 points (10 goals, four assists) at the MAWPC Championship, which included a six-goal output in Sunday's third-place game.

This is Pateros' second end-of-year award to go along with his All-Conference First Team nomination, and it is also Pateros' second collegiate all-tournament honors, after being named to the GCC All-Tournament Team in 2018 at Long Beach State.
