Buff & Blue take the court for eight conference games in D.C.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW women's basketball announced its Atlantic 10 schedule on Tuesday, featuring 16 conference matchups. The Buff & Blue will host eight games inside Smith Center, including four on weekends.
The conference slate kicks off with the start of 2022, as GW faces Saint Louis on New Year's Day, before welcoming defending A-10 Champion VCU to the Nation's Capital on Jan. 5.
After a road trip to take on Dayton, the Colonials return home to host Rhode Island on Jan. 12. The Buff & Blue will then hit the road again before wrapping up January with back-to-back home games against UMass on Jan. 22 and Davidson on Jan. 26.
While February features several contests away from D.C. for GW, fans will get the chance to see the Buff and Blue play home conference games on three occasions: Feb. 12 against St. Bonaventure, Feb. 16 against George Mason and Feb. 26 against La Salle.
Information regarding GW's national television schedule will be announced at a later date.
GW previously announced its 13-game non-conference schedule, which features the home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 9 vs. American.
