ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The GW golf team competed in Match Play by the Bay on Friday and finished third overall. Howard earned first, Navy Blue came in second and Navy Gold rounded out the rankings at No. 4.

Navy Blue defeated GW in the first round of play, setting up a consolation match between the Buff and Blue and Navy Gold.

In the consolation final, the pairings of Adrian Castagnola/Cliff Thompson and Hugo Riboud/Ty Sullivan helped lift GW over Navy, 2-1.
