Outfielder joins six signees in Class of 2020
WASHINGTON – George Washington softball has added Taylin Yankovich to its 2020 recruiting class, head coach Shane Winkler announced Wednesday.
The outfielder from Pasadena, Calif., joins a group of six previously-announced signees who will don the Buff and Blue for the 2021 season.
"I'm looking forward to adding Taylin to our outfield next year," Winkler said. "She plays for a great program out in California and has had success against many of the top travel ball programs in the country. With her outstanding work ethic both on the field and in the classroom, Taylin is a great fit for GW."
In addition to Yankovich, GW's recruiting class features Jo Castillo (Fayetteville, N.C.), Alena Ramirez (Chula Vista, Calif.), Abby Schaub (Leesburg, Va.), Maddie Spell (Suwanee, Ga.), Sidney Torres (Great Falls, Va.) and Alexa Williams (El Cajon, Calif.).
"We added a very strong signing class back in November, and Taylin is a great addition," Winkler said. "We look forward to getting them all on campus this fall as they have the talent to keep us competing for Atlantic 10 titles for years to come."
