The NQS is based on a team's and all-around competitor's six best regular-season meet scores, of which three must be away. The high score is eliminated with the remaining five scores averaged. In former years, this was known as the Regional Qualifying Score (RQS), which was changed for the 2019 season to reflect the new postseason format.
ROAD AHEAD: Following their swing down South, the Colonials will prepare for a pair of meets to kick off competition in March. The squad will first make the short trip to Towson for tri-meet action with Maryland on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. before hosting the Tigers and Terps along with Yale and William & Mary for Senior Day on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
