Baseball Sending Eight to Summer Leagues

Fassnacht ticketed for Cape Cod League
WASHINGTON -Â Summer ball is set to start this week across the nation and eight Colonials will be taking part in various leagues as part of their offseason preparation for GW baseball.Â
A-10 Player of the Year Nate Fassnacht headlines the group by playing in the prestigious and prospect-rich Cape Cod League. A-10 Rookie of the Year Noah Levin is one of three Colonials heading to the Hamptons League, joining Harrison Cohen and Chris Knight, while junior Steve Barmakian also heads to New England as part of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
Junior Greg Anderberg and first-year Trey Torain are the first to start their summers, doing so tonight (May 28) as members of the Northwoods League. Sophomore Colin Brophy is the closest to campus, competing in the Valley League.
