Women's DMR Sets School Record at Penn Relays

Quartet shatters previous mark by over 25 seconds
PHILADELPHIA - GW women's track's distance medley relay, in its first race together this spring, set a strong precedent for next week's A-10 Championship with a new school record on Thursday at the Penn Relays.
The quartet of Halley Brown, Brittany Wilkinson, Margaret Coogan and Madison Yerke obliterated the previous mark by over 25 seconds, finishing in a time of 11:54.26. The four had also set the school record in the indoor DMR earlier this year.
Additionally, senior Brigid Prial posted an individual accolade in the 5000m, blasting her pervious career best by 14 seconds in a time of 17:20.50.
