Perlozzo, Rouhier to Headline GW Baseball Golf Outing Reception

WASHINGTON – GW baseball coach Gregg Ritchie announced that baseball alums Sam Perlozzo and Danny Rouhier will serve as guest speakers at the team's annual golf outing on October 19.
The 21st annual event is scheduled to be held at Lake Presidential Golf Club in Upper Marlboro, Md. Registration and more information can be found here.
Perlozzo is a 1973 graduate of GW and is in his fifth season as the minor league infield and baserunning coordinator for the Minnesota Twins. He has served as an MLB coach in some capacity since 1987, including parts of three seasons as a manager for the Baltimore Orioles from 2005-07.
At GW, Perlozzo was an Academic All-American infielder and was inducted into the GW Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986. His 52 stolen bases during his collegiate career still ranks eighth all-time in program history. He was named team MVP in his senior season of 1972.
Rouhier played for the Buff & Blue from 1998-01 and peppers the all-time record books for his career accomplishments. Rouhier earned second team All-Atlantic 10 honors in 2000 and ranks among the GW all-time top 10 in RBI (3rd), doubles (3rd), home runs (7th), runs (t-7), and hits (10th).
Rouhier currently co-hosts the sports talk show, Grant & Danny, heard weekdays in the Washington, D.C. area on 106.7 The Fan.
