The tournament features 36 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday

TEEING OFF: The GW golf team gets back in the swing of tournament competition this weekend as it heads to the George Mason Patriot Intercollegiate at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton, Virginia. The tournament gets underway on Saturday with 36 holes of continuous play before a final round on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT: GW was in the field for the VCU Invitational earlier this week but the tournament was canceled due to heavy rain. Prior to that, the Colonials opened the season at the Marshall Invitational Sept. 10-11, when Logan Lowe shot 5-under in a rain-shortened 36-hole event to finish tied for third.

THE COURSE: Much of GW's lineup has plenty of experience at Laurel Hill Golf Club, which serves as one of the Colonials' home practice venues. The course plays as a par 71 at approximately 7,000 yards.

THE LINEUP: Lowe, Adrian Castagnola, Luis Preciado, Logan Othmer and Clifford Thompson will represent GW while Stephen Brown will play as an individual.
