Legault made history over the weekend as she became the first sailor in program history to win a singlehanded conference title when she captured the Faye Bennet MAISA Women's Singlehanded Championship at Navy.

The Florida native led the 17-boat field for nearly the entire regatta on the strength of top five finishes in each of the first eight races. After she briefly dropped into second place with just three races to go, Legault finished strong to claim the top spot on the podium and qualify for ICSA Women's Singlehanded Nationals for the fourth time, also a first in program history. This is the third time Legault has earned Colonial of the Week honors in her career.Â
