Legault recorded a ninth-place finish at the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship last weekend in Holland, Michigan. It marked the fourth consecutive appearance in the event for Legault, who qualified earlier this season by virtue of winning the MAISA conference championship.
The ninth-place finish is the second-best of her career in the regatta, after finishes of sixth as a first-year and 10th during her sophomore and junior seasons. She is the only sailor in school history to qualify for singlehanded nationals all four years of her career.
