WASHINGTON - George Washington softball won't officially kick off the season for months, but the Colonials are back to work at the GW Softball Field at the Mount Vernon Campus.
GW's fall is highlighted by four home doubleheaders, beginning Sept. 30 against Coppin State. (Full fall schedule here.) It should be good preparation for an anticipated spring season. The Colonials have most of the group back that produced a program-record 28 wins in 2016.
