WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis team is set for a trio of weekend matches, beginning with a pair of contests at the squad's indoor home Southeast Tennis Center.
The Colonials (2-3) will host Towson (2-1) on Friday and Morgan State (0-6) on Saturday before visiting Delaware (2-2) on Sunday.
Last weekend GW split a pair of matches, falling to Massachusetts on Saturday before downing Navy on Sunday.
Sophomore Sara Grubac is off to a strong start this spring with a 3-1 singles mark in dual match play, matching classmate Maria Siopacha (3-2) for a team high in solo wins.
The pair of Siopacha and freshman Melis Bayraktaroglu lead GW with a 3-1 doubles record this spring.
