GW Baseball Mourns Passing of Tim Hill '66

The George Washington baseball program and the Department of Athletics and Recreation mourn the passing of alumnus Tim Hill '66.
The first of three brothers to play at George Washington, Hill played three seasons for the Colonials, boasted a career batting average of .403, and was named to the All-Century Team as a second basemen. He was later drafted by the Washington Senators in 1966.
He went on to a highly successful coaching career at the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota where he compiled a 1,109-484 record across 31 seasons from 1982-2012. He took his team to five National Junior College Athletic Association World Series, including a pair of championship appearances.
In 2005, Hill was elected to the National Junior College Baseball Coaches' Hall of Fame.
