WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball team will now host Atlantic 10 rival La Salle in a doubleheader on Sunday at the GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.

Due to unplayable field conditions in Philadelphia, the Explorers (1-6), originally slated to host the conference-opening series, will visit the District. The previously scheduled single game on Saturday has been cancelled.

The Colonials (13-8) will serve as the visiting team in both games.
