WASHINGTON - The George Washington baseball team has announced its full promotional schedule for home games at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park this season.
GW will celebrate the opening weekend of Atlantic 10 Conference play on the weekend of March 27-29 when the Colonials welcome St. Bonaventure to Tucker Field.
In conjunction with Major League Baseball's celebration of the life and contributions of Jackie Robinson, the Colonials will once again host Jackie Robinson Day on Friday, April 17 against Fordham. At the game, a GW baseball player will be selected as the recipient for the Jackie Robinson Award, which is bestowed by the George Washington Jackie Robinswon Society for exhibiting qualities of the legendary sports hero.
The following day, GW will host the Third Annual Warren Fulton III Memorial Game. Fulton's life was tragically cut short during his senior season in 1988. Since 1989, the GW baseball program has annually presented the Warren H. Fulton Memorial Award to the player who best exemplifies the spirit, teamwork and sportsmanship demonstrated by the late Fulton.

Bark at Barcroft returns for the second consecutive season on April 19 against Fordham. Pet owners will have the opportunity to enter the DogZone, a special area located inside the gates at Tucker Field, where local vendors will be providing various dog-related services, free giveaways, information and dog-related advice from various partners. Fans and their pets will then be invited to enter the grandstand to watch the Colonials face the Rams.
GW will once again celebrate Hometown Heroes Day on May 10 against Saint Louis, where the men and women of the armed services and emergency response personnel in Arlington County will be honored. The event will feature a special pregame Heroes Tailgate in the Tucker Field parking lot and a number of various emergency response vehicles will be on site courtesy of Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall and the Arlington Police and Fire Departments.
The Colonials will honor its four seniors at Senior Day on May 15 against William & Mary, where Craig LeJeune, Xavier Parkmond, Brookes Townsend and Ryan Xepoleas will be recognized for their commitment to the GW baseball program.
Also throughout the regular season, young Colonials fans are invited to play catch on the field following all Saturday home games. Additionally, fans are invited to run the bases at Tucker Field following all Sunday home games.
