GW Softball Sets Fall Schedule

Fall Schedule
WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball team will host three round robins and will travel for a fourth, facing teams from around the region in preparation for the 2014 spring campaign, fifth-year Head Coach Stacey Schramm announced today.
The fall schedule kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 20, when GW hosts Maryland at 11 a.m. and Shepherd at 1:15 p.m. The next day, the Colonials will face off against their former teammates in the second annual GW Softball Alumni Game on Sunday, Sept. 21, at 12 p.m. The following Saturday, the Colonials will host Georgetown at 11 a.m. and Coppin State at 1:15 p.m.
GW travels to Maryland on Sunday, Oct. 5, for a round robin against Georgetown and the host Terps. The Colonials then conclude their fall slate on Saturday, Oct. 11, facing off against Howard at 11 a.m. and Coppin State at 1:15 p.m. at the GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.
GW returns 14 letterwinners from last season's squad, including A-10 All-Conference second-team selections Megan Linn and Victoria Valos.
