WASHINGTON - The George Washington baseball team hits the road for the first time this season with a three-game series against Southeastern Louisiana this weekend at Alumni Field in Hammond, La.
Freshman Andrew Selby provided the game-winning hit, an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, his second run-scoring single of the afternoon. Freshman Eddie Muhl earned the win in his collegiate debut after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
Southeastern Louisiana is 2-2 on the young season after winning two-of-three against Louisiana Tech and a 7-3 non-conference loss to No. 3 LSU. Jacob Williams leads the Lions with seven base hits through the first four games of 2014.
