Katie Terrazas Named Softball Team MVP for 2010-11

WASHINGTON, DC- Katie Terrazas was named the softball team's Most Valuable Player at George Washington University's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on the GW campus Thursday.
A senior co-captain, Katie has anchored the shortstop position for the Colonials infield with a team-leading 94 assists and at the plate is batting .296 with five doubles, 12 runs batted in, and 17 walks. The Murrieta, CA, native has started all 40 games this spring, successfully reaching base in all but two of those outings. She has climbed into the Top 5 in seven career categories at GW, including games played, games started, hits and runs scored.
