Winter Skills Camp Registration
The two-day Winter Skills Camp is designed for female players, ages 10-18, who wish to enhance their offensive and defensive game by developing softball knowledge, hitting approach and defensive skill set. The camp is broken up into two days - the first dealing with offensive instruction and the second with defensive and pitching instruction.
Check-in for the Offensive Camp is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. Camp introduction is set to begin at 10 a.m., followed by hitting strategy discussion, drills and stations, base running and team and individual competitions. Check-out will follow at 3 p.m.
Check-in for the Defense and Pitching Camp is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. The day's schedule will emulate Saturday's.
Campers should provide their own equipment for the Winter Skills Camp, including gloves, bats, helmets, sneakers, cleats, softball pants and practice clothing. Those campers wishing to participate in the pitching sessions should bring their own catcher.
Registration for the Winter Skills Camp can be completed online at GWsports.com and mailed into the designated address. Cost of each camp is $95 with a two-day price of $165. The team rate is $75 per day. Pending available enrollment, registration is also available at check-in on the day of the camp for an additional $10 fee.
