WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington sophomore Lasan Kromah will be out indefinitely due to a foot injury. Kromah suffered a sprained left foot on Oct. 30, 2010. Surgery to repair the foot is likely.
The Colonials' top returning scorer from last season, Kromah was named to the 2010-11 preseason Atlantic 10 men's basketball All-Conference Third Team in voting conducted among the media and coaches on Oct. 21. As a freshman last season, he averaged 11.8 points and shot 45.9 percent from the field while leading GW in three-pointers made with 47 and ranked second in the A-10 in steals with an average of 2.0 per game. The 6-5 guard from Greenbelt, MD (Eleanor Roosevelt H.S.) posted six 20-plus scoring games in his first season of college basketball.
