Women's Tennis Falls at ITA Regional

NORFOLK, VA - GW women's tennis wrapped up their fall schedule on Friday at the ITA Atlantic Regional on the campus of Old Dominion.
Junior Jacqueline Corba fell in her first-round singles match to Amy Simidian of Penn State, 6-3, 6-3. Corba finishes the fall season 3-1 in singles tournament action and 2-2 in doubles.
In doubles action, sophomore Mimi Hamling and Julia Blakeley fell to Yasmin Hamza and Holly Johnson, 8-2. The Colonials doubles duo collected a 2-3 record working together in fall tournaments. Hamling was 3-3 in singles action in the fall, as well as, Blakeley.
The Colonials start their spring season against Drexel in Philadelphia, Friday, January 28, 2011.
