Tennis Dominates George Mason, Records Second Consecutive A-10 Win

The George Washington tennis team opened its trip to Hilton Head with a win, dominating George Mason, 4-0, for the team's second consecutive Atlantic 10 victory. GW's record moves to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in A-10 play.

GW set the tone with two wins in doubles play, including a 6-1 victory for Karen Verduzco and Madison Lee, the Revolutionaries' first flight pairing. The duo is 8-3 on the season, the best winning percentage for the program thus far. Victoria Sasinka and Solange Skeene also picked up a 6-3 win in the second flight, moving the pairing to 5-6 in 2026.

The Buff & Blue made quick work of the Patriots in singles action, with Sasinka picking up a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 win in second singles. Lee cruised to a 6-4, 6-0 win in the third flight, while Alexandra Lindqvist tallied a 6-2, 6-2 victory in fourth singles to secure the win for GW. Lindqvist is now 6-5 in singles action as a first-year, leading GW in total wins this season. Skeene, Verduzco and Devika Manu all had their singles matches go unfinished.
