WASHINGTON, DC - Sean Rockey was named the baseball team MVP at George Washington University's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on the GW campus Monday.

Sean, a native of Sammamish, WA, has been the driving force of the Colonials' offense in 2009, recording at least two hits in 21 games this season. Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week in March, he currently leads GW and ranks in the Top 6 in the Atlantic 10 in several offensive categories, including batting average, slugging percentage, hits, and runs batted in. He is also tied for the team lead with seven home runs.
