WATCH COLONIALS INVASION LIVE ON GW ALL-ACCESS
WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington men's and women's basketball teams will host Colonials Invasion at Charles E. Smith Center this Friday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 pm with doors opening at 7:00 pm. The event is free and open to GW students, faculty and staff with valid GWorld ID, season-ticket holders and parents and family members attending Colonials Weekend.
Colonials Invasion, one of the featured events of Colonials Weekend, is an annual event held on the campus of The George Washington University as the official tip-off to the basketball season.
The event includes live music, sports-related entertainment, several giveaways and performances from GW's Cheer and First Ladies Dance Teams, Capital Funk (GW's hip-hop dance team), The GW Colonial Brass and mascots. All of this leads to a special-effects filled introduction of the GW men's and women's basketball teams and head coaches Karl Hobbs and Mike Bozeman.

For those fans who can't make it to the event, Colonials Invasion will be streamed live on GW All-Access.
