Saturday's Game: GW (5-13, 1-7) hosts Dayton (16-5, 4-4) Saturday night in the first and only meeting this season and the 23rd meeting in the series. GW has won four of the last five in the series following a six-game losing streak to the Flyers.
• GW, 5-3 at home this season, is aiming to snap a rare three-game skid at Smith Center where the Colonials are 307-120 (.719) all-time in 32 seasons.
• Dayton is 4-4 (.500) on the road this season with victories at Miami, Holy Cross, Louisville and Saint Louis in overtime.
• GW is coming off its seventh straight loss, an 80-53 decision to La Salle on Wednesday, the Colonials' first loss to the Explorers in 12 meetings at Smith Center.
• Dayton is coming off a 69-64 victory over Charlotte Wednesday in Dayton. The Flyers have lost four of their last six games following a 13-game winning streak.
• GW junior F Rob Diggs is the A-10 Player of the Week after hitting all 10 of his FG attempts en route to a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double on Jan. 30 vs. Saint Joseph's.
• GW is without starting point guard Travis King, who is sitting out the season with a knee injury.

A Closer Look at Dayton: The Flyers come to Smith Center Saturday with a 16-5 record, 4-4 A-10. Dayton has two players averaging double figures led by Brian Roberts' 18.6 ppg and Chris Wright's 10.4 ppg and 6.0 rebounds although Wright is injured and not expected to play Saturday. In Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte, the Flyers shot 53.2 percent overall, hit 6-18 three-pointers and out-rebounded the 49ers, 33-28, but committed 19 turnovers. For the season, Dayton is shooting 47 percent from the field, averages 70 points a game and is outrebounding opponents by nearly six caroms a game. Former St. Bonaventure coach, Anthony Solomon, is an assistant on the Flyers' staff.
