GW Lacrosse to Hold Winter Clinic

2008 GW Winter Lacrosse Clinic
WASHINGTON, DC - First-year GW women's lacrosse head coach Tara Hannaford has announced her staff will host a clinic for high school players at Mount Vernon Athletic Field on Sunday, February 17. The one-day event is open to players 8th through 12th grade and will last from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The clinic is designed to provide players with top-level instruction to help bring their game to the next level. The clinic will include individual skill instruction, small-sided games and team play coached by the GW staff and current Colonials' players. Last season, GW captured a share of its first Atlantic 10 regular season title and advanced to the conference championship game.
The GW clinic will take place at Mount Vernon Athletic Field on Sunday, Feb. 17, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Registration fee is $60, or $50 for a team of eight or more. Registration begins at 9:00 am and lunch will be provided.
