WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington softball home doubleheader against Coppin State, that had orginally been scheduled for Thursday, May 3, at 2:00 pm, has been pushed back to a single-game at 4:00 pm. The rescheduled time was due to a scheduling conflict.
The Colonials (21-24, 8-10 A-10) are currently in seventh place in the Atlantic 10 standings with just one conference series to go, as the top six teams advance to the conference tournament in Amherst, MA.
Also on Thursday, May 3, the Colonials softball team will also be honored for having the best women's team GPA of all the 12 women's sports at the University.
GW will host Saint Louis on Saturday, May 5 at 12:00 pm for a doubleheader in the Colonials' final regular season conference games of the season. The twinbill will also be the last home games for six GW athletes: Lisa Cohen, Kaity Harbour, Katy Harrigan, Jen Hrycyna, Elana Meyers and Janelle Parker.
