Orenduff Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington freshman Justin Orenduff (Chesapeake, VA/Western Branch) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week the conference office has announced. This is his first A-10 honor of the season.
Orenduff pitched a total of seven scoreless innings in relief in three games last week. He allowed three hits and struck out seven. On April 15th at Dayton, Orenduff did not allow a hit in three innings of work in the Colonials' 9-6 win. He appeared for one inning of hitless relief on April 16th in GW's 7-1 win over Georgetown. Orenduff finished the week allowing three hits and striking out four in two innings on April 21st, when GW completed a series sweep of La Salle with a 15-8 victory.
Orenduff has a 1.08 ERA and has allowed only 19 hits in 33.1 innings, while appearing in 15 games. He has a win-loss record of 6-1.
Orenduff and the Colonials next play at George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA, on Tuesday, April 23, at 3:00 p.m.
