Washington, DC (April 10) - The George Washington baseball team lost 4-3 to St. Joseph's University at Elmwood Park in Philadelphia, PA. The loss drops the Colonials' record to 24-14 overall and 6-3 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Leading 3-1 heading into the bottom of the eighth, GW surrendered three runs and Hawks' closer Kevin Kirby closed out the ninth for his third save of the season to defeat the Colonials.

Senior Ryan Hauseman (Pottstown, PA/The Hill School) added a RBI single in the fourth inning, and Krimmel closed out the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the fifth to give the Colonials a 3-0 advantage.
Trailing 3-0, St. Joseph's scored for unanswered runs to defeat the Colonials and to avoid the three-game sweep.
