Stetson Bombs George Washington 15-8

The victory moves Stetson to 4-1 while George Washington falls to 0-2.
George Washington led 5-2 after five innings, but Stetson scored eight times in the sixth, four times in the seventh, and once in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
Josh Laws was and Brooks Stephens each went 4-for-5, including three doubles off the bat of Laws. Jason Shipley hit a three-run double and Frank Corr smashed his third home run of the season in the Hatters eight-run sixth inning. Jeff Christy added three hits including a two-run triple in the seventh.
Chris Rogers (1-0) pitched 4.1 innings of relief of Jason Oglesby to pick up the victory.
Dan Rouhier and Matt Krimmel each went 2-for-4 to lead the Colonials. Rouhier hit a two-run double as part of a five run fifth inning for George Washington. Colonial starter Chris Worth (0-1) took the loss.
Stetson will look for the three-game sweep Sunday at 1 p.m.
