St. Joseph's Hands Men's Basketball 102-91 Loss

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Marvin O'Connor scored 24 points and sparked a late spurt as St. Joseph's defeated George Washington 102-91 in an Atlantic 10 game on Wednesday.
Na-im Crenshaw added 20 points for the Hawks (7-7, 2-3 Atlantic 10), who hit the 100-point mark for the first time since December 1992.
SirValiant Brown, who came into the game leading the nation in scoring with a 26.9 average, was hampered by foul trouble and scored 18 points.
Bernard Barrow had 15 points for the Colonials (6-10, 0-3).
St. Joseph's held a 81-76 lead with 6:27 to play, then went on a 14-4 run _ with 12 of the points by O'Connor _ to take a 95-80 lead with 1:44 remaining.
The Hawks led 47-36 with 2:09 left in the first half and held a 47-43 edge at the break. St. Joseph's connected on eight of 14 three pointers in the half, while GW hit on only three of 13.
Damian Reid of St. Joseph's and Chris Monroe of GW were ejected from the game with 14:52 left in the first half after becoming entangled on the floor and engaging in a wrestling match.
