'Being a GW Colonial Gymnast means more to me than just being able to do gymnastics; it influences every aspect of my life. It has helped shape me into who I am today, as well as who I will be in the future. GW Gymnastics has provided me with everything I need to be successful in life as a person, teammate, friend, and leader. The experiences and people I have met along this four year journey will travel with me well into my future.' As a Junior in 2011: Competed in 11 meets, primarily on bars and balance beam ... posted season-high score of 9.650 on balance beam against NC State (2/27) ... recorded career-high score of 9.650 on uneven bars against NC State (2/27) ... EAGL All-Academic Team. As a Sophomore in 2010: Competed in 13 meets, primarily on bars ... also competed on beam in five meets ... recorded career-high score of 9.475 on bars at EAGL Championship ... recorded season-high score of 9.725 on beam against Kent State, to tie career high ... EAGL All-Academic Team.
As a Freshman in 2009: Competed in five meets for the Colonials on beam in 2009, including the EAGL Championships ... Recorded a season-high score of 9.725 against Towson (3/21) ... Named to the 2009 EAGL All-Academic Team.

High School/Club: Competed at Chantilly Academy Gymnastics under Colonials assistant coaches Barry Kistler and Justin Watson... A 2007 Level 10 Regional qualifier.... Two-time Level 9 National qualifier; took second place on both the vault and balance beam...Member of the National Honor Society and The National Society of High School Scholars.
Personal: Born Brittany Loren Burnham in Fairfax, VA...daughter of David and Lori Burnham... has two younger siblings, Alexandra (16)and Tyler (13)... enjoys dancing, swimming, and reading... psychology major....aspires to go to law school.
