AT GEORGE WASHINGTON
The Colonials[apos] team co-captain had a breakout year as a junior leading the team in kills (492), service aces (44), block solos (23) and total blocks (68) en route to A-10 All-Conference honors. The two-time A-10 Player of the Week also garnered Verizon Academic All-District II Second Team and A-10 Academic All-Conference honors and was named the team[apos]s Most Outstanding Player and Offensive Player of the Year by the coaching staff. As a sophomore in 2001, she appeared in 81 games and was second on team in kills with 230 and with 223 digs... also contributed 26 total blocks. Named the team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Year. As a freshman in 2000, she saw action in 82 games and recorded 37 kills and 93 digs on the season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Team captain her junior and senior years at Caldwell High School under coach Laura Crowe ... was the team[apos]s MVP her final two seasons as well, also earning first team All-Conference honors her junior year and All-Conference Player of the Year as a senior ... participated in many sports including basketball, softball, and track and field (high jump, discus and 4x200 relay) ... a true student-athlete earning the University of Idaho Top Scholar Award and was a Wendy[apos]s High School Heisman Scholar Athlete State Finalist.
