WASHINGTON - GW men's basketball head coach Chris Caputo announced the signing of Colorado transfer Felix Kossaras on Wednesday, the program's first transfer signee for the 2026-27 season.
"We're excited about Felix and his ability to play multiple guard positions," Caputo said. "We feel like he is a guy who can dribble, pass and shoot and defend his position. His experience in the Big 12 will have him ready for the rigors of the Atlantic 10 season."
Kossaras (pronounced kuh-SARE-us) appeared in 57 games for the Buffaloes the last two seasons, starting 18 for the program that made back-to-back appearances in the College Basketball Crown. He averaged 3.3 ppg and 1.4 rpg while shooting 47% from the floor (third-best on the team) and 36.4% from beyond the arc in 13.6 mpg.
He finished his season with 14 points in 19 minutes against Oklahoma in the Crown and also posted double figures against Washington (11) and UC Davis (career-high 17) earlier in the campaign.
The 6-6 junior guard hails from Montreal, Quebec and attended Fort Erie International Academy in Ontario, the same program as incoming first-year Promis N'Landu. He was rated a four-star prospect and #92 overall by On3.com as a prep. He also has garnered international experience playing for Team Canada in the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup in Spain.
2026-27 Season Tickets for GW men's basketball are on sale now, starting as low as $70. The Revolutionaries are coming off back-to-back postseason appearances and the program's first postseason win in nine years at Utah Valley in the opening round of the NIT.
