Following a 1-1 trip to Hilton Head last week for spring break, the George Washington tennis team returns to The District on Thursday, hosting crosstown foe Howard. Match time is set for 11:00 a.m. at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC).

The Revolutionaries return home after splitting a pair of matches in Hilton Head last week. The Buff & Blue defeated George Mason on Monday, 4-0, but fell to Fordham, 7-0, on Wednesday. GW was scheduled to play a third match of the break on Thursday against NC Central, but the contest was ultimately cancelled due to inclement weather in the region. GW now holds a 5-7 record on the year, including a 2-2 mark in Atlantic 10 matches.
Â
Howard enters the week 1-6 overall, with the program's lone victory coming over George Mason on Feb. 28. The Bison bested the Patriots, 4-2, snapping an 0-5 skid to start the regular season. Howard has also competed against Maryland, Georgetown, James Madison, William & Mary, VCU and Hampton to open 2026. Franchesca Brown leads the program with two singles wins thus far, both coming in the second flight. The duo of Brown and Dana Hall leads the program with one doubles victory this season.
