Gymnastics Closes Regular Season with Two-Meet Weekend
3/12/2026 5:00:00 PM | Gymnastics
GW gymnastics will close the regular season with a double-meet weekend, beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at Towson alongside Maryland and Penn. The meet will stream live on YouTube before the Revolutionaries return to the Smith Center for their regular season finale on Sunday at 1 p.m., when the Revolutionaries host Towson, Temple and Maryland for Senior Day on ESPN+.
Both meets will count as regular-season EAGL contests. On Friday night, GW will face Towson in the teams' regular-season head-to-head matchup, while Sunday's meeting between the Revolutionaries and Temple will determine their regular-season result.
On Sunday, George Washington will give a warm sendoff to Kasey Burke, Kylie Kazmierski, Nancy Kiner, Catherine O'Rourke and Deana Sheremeta during a special post-meet ceremony. The five graduating student-athletes have helped the program earn academic and athletic recognition across the University and the EAGL during their time in the Buff & Blue, and each will depart Foggy Bottom as an EAGL champion after the team claimed the conference title last season.
Looking ahead to the competition, Towson currently leads the EAGL in NQS and ranks No. 41 nationally with a 195.061. The Tigers most recently posted a 195.000 at Temple on March 5.
Temple enters the weekend after scoring a 194.875 against Ball State, Cornell and Maryland and currently ranks third in the conference. Maryland sits No. 28 nationally with a 195.828 NQS and most recently recorded a 196.225.
