Daisen Iwan Tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON- GW lacrosse midfielder Daisen Iwan has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. This is the second time in as many weeks a GW Rev has been named Rookie of the Week after Mia Milkowski earned the honor just a week ago.
Iwan led the Buff & Blue in the draw circle in the 14-8 win over William & Mary, earning a team-high eight draw controls. The first-year also found the back of the net twice in just her second collegiate start to make a mark in the Revolutionaries' win.
Iwan and GW are back in action this Wednesday at the Vern as they take on the American Eagles in a DMV matchup scheduled for 1 p.m.
