Sophomore Lola Montevago and first-year Aspen Tucker have each received recognition from EAGL as its Gymnast and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league on Wednesday morning. This is the first weekly recognition of the 2026 season for Montevago and the second for Tucker.

Montevago was named the Gymnast of the Week after winning the all-around with a personal-best 39.125 at Friday's meet, inclusive of a second-place, 9.825 vault, a 9.700 on bars, a career-high tying 9.850 on beam and a 9.750 finish on floor. The sophomore was GW's leading performer on both the vault and beam and won the all-around competition for the second time in as many weeks.

Tucker, the first-year, competed all-around on Friday night, finishing with a season and career-high 38.475. Behind a 9.450 on the vault, a 9.700 on bars, a 9.675 on beam and a 9.650 on floor, Tucker finished second in the all-around, and was honored alongside fellow rookie Ella Beck of Temple.

Montevago, Tucker and the GW Revs return to action this Sunday to begin a two-meet homestand in the Smith Center. Action in Foggy Bottom this Sunday will feature the Buff & Blue in addition to William & Mary and New Hampshire in a 1 p.m. tri-meet.
