WASHINGTON - Sophomore Alexis Rodriguez has been tabbed as the A-10 Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. This is the first weekly award for the sophomore outside hitter.

In Friday's sweep, Rodriguez recorded 16 kills on a .400 hitting percentage, along with two assists and nine digs. She followed that with 15 kills and 10 digs in Saturday's four-set victory, marking yet another double-double performance.

Across the weekend, Rodriguez amassed 31 kills across seven sets while hitting .359 on the weekend, averaging 4.43 kills per set. She also added 19 digs, three assists, two service aces and one block to total 34 points and guide the Buff & Blue to its first conference series win of the season.

GW is now headed to the Windy City to face Loyola Chicago in its first A-10 road clash of 2025. Action in Chicago is slated to begin Friday at 7 p.m. Eastern, and the match will be carried on ESPN+.
